The tourist office is located in the former residence of the Gothic private residence of Duke Philippe the Good of Burgundy. Most of this buidling was badly damaged by fire and remained empty until it was used at the city’s tourist office. The building and its octogonal brick tower dominates Place Rihour.
Tourists should get hold of the City Pass. This allows for free entry to 27 tourists sites and attractions and use of Lille’s public transport (subway, bus and tramway).
1 day pass costs 18 euros
2 day pass costs 30 euros
3 day pass costs 45 euros (this pass also gives access to 10 tourist sites and attractions in the Nord-Pas de Calais region too and unlimited use of the regional TER trains (SNCF).
